KFOR Deputy Commander Brigadier General Federico Collina Visits the Official AC Milan Camp in Prishtina

The Official AC Milan Camp in Prishtina was honoured to welcome Brigadier General Federico Collina, Deputy Commander of KFOR, whose visit brought together football, leadership, and the shared commitment to inspiring the next generation through sport. Brigadier General Collina was welcomed by the organizers before meeting the Official AC Milan coaching team, led by Head Coach Annachiara Teboni, alongside AC Milan coaches Luca Tettamanti and Derege Mazzoccato. The distinguished guest then joined the coaches on the training pitch, where he observed the internationally recognized AC Milan training methodology being delivered to hundreds of young footballers participating in this year’s camp. During the visit, Brigadier General Collina spent time with the boys and girls, interacted with the coaching staff, and witnessed firsthand the enthusiasm, commitment, and passion displayed by every participant. He also learned more about the educational philosophy behind the AC Milan Academy, where technical excellence is developed alongside values such as respect, discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and fair play. The Deputy Commander expressed his appreciation for initiatives that provide young people with opportunities to grow through sport, recognizing football as a powerful platform for building confidence, promoting inclusion, and strengthening communities. His presence highlighted the important role that sport plays in bringing people together and creating positive experiences for young generations. The Official AC Milan Camp offers participants much more than elite football training, It provides an environment where children develop not only their football abilities under the guidance of official AC Milan coaches but also important life skills that will accompany them far beyond the football pitch. Every training session reflects the values and methodology that have shaped generations of AC Milan players. The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to Brigadier General Federico Collina and KFOR for honouring the camp with their visit and for their continued support of youth-focused initiatives across Kosovo. They also thanked the Official AC Milan coaching staff, led by Head Coach Annachiara Teboni, for delivering an exceptional football and educational experience to every participant throughout the week. The presence of Brigadier General Federico Collina at the Official AC Milan Camp in Prishtina served as a reminder that the values of leadership, respect, teamwork, and excellence extend well beyond the game itself. Through partnerships that connect sport with education and community engagement, the camp continues to inspire young people to dream big, work hard, and become not only better footballers, but better people. A special highlight of this year’s camp was the selection of the three best-performing players, who have been invited to take part in special training sessions at the AC Milan Vismara Sport Centre in Milan. This invitation represents an extraordinary opportunity for the selected players to experience the club’s elite training environment and continue their development closer to the heart of AC Milan.
